Question Relationships with large age differences???
Alright guys and girls I was wondering. Of all of you out there how many are currently, or have dated someone significantly older, or younger than you? Down falls? Up sides to it? General thoughts from everyone welcome. Just curious what you guys think or believe.


I myself see age as nothing. I am 23 and I am dating a 36 year old woman. I have never been so happy in my life. She is incredible. Most beautiful, creative, and compassionate person I have ever met. She skydives with me, bikes with me....everything. First person I have ever met who I could marry.

At the age you're at now it's likely pretty good. Like Zed said, until a woman is in her 30's, she usually just a mess, (men too). I don't think anyone should even consider marriage until they're in their mid 30's and is truly ready to commit to someone else. You're only 23, relax, there's no rush. Go out and experience life to the fullest for 10 more years before you start thinking marriage.

They only problem with large age differences is, what happens when this 'fun' time is over. Think 10 years in the future when you're 33 and still doing everything you're doing now, but she's 46 and maybe not into the super active lifestyle anymore.

Of course, this is just my opinion.

I personally can't imagine dating someone close to my age. My boy is 6 yrs older and I luv it. I've tried dating guys my age and it just doesn't work. Who cares about age if they're the one who makes you happy.

well its not as bad for me, but my girl is 3 years younger, and well you can definateky notice the age difference in our relationship, I am just way more street smart, but who knows, lots of relationships that are older/younger work out fine, if not better than same aged ones

I'm with a 32 year old right now, and I'm 17. It's going pretty good. Sometimes the looks in public are weird, we usually just stay at her place.

She used to hire me as a babysitter for her 6 year old twins, but lets just say now WE hire a babysitter, and I get to play with her other twins
