Tootoo ended my first and only (so far) WHL season in a preseason game when I played for Kelowna and heplayed for Brandon. I hit, me = broken.
He's amazingly fast, the quickest feet I have ever seen, as solid as a brickshit house, and the fastest acceleration you have ever seen in your life.
Also played with Brayden Coburn at Notre Dame the year he got drafted 1st overall to Red Deer.
Same with Stefan Mier.
All great players.
Tootoo is what Canadian Hockey is all about. He is going to stay in the show for sure. I can't believe the Blue Jackets havent kept him up there playing.
Oh, well. I guess thats Brandons gain.
I haven't looked at the entire lineup for the Juniors but are Dale Mahovsky and Jared Lukin on it?
The Canadian Junior team is always incrediably strong. The WHL produces the best grinders in the world, the Q the goal scores and OHL goalies (although Blackburn is one hell of a tender).
Anyway, they'll do awesome this yea by the way the lineup seems to be shaping up.
Those Euro's can't handle the power of the Canadians or Tootoo (and neither could I )
Go !
