my high school screwed me over.
so i went to this private school for gr 11-12. i graduate and everything is good. this week i decide to sign up for some post secondary education. i get a phone call this morning from Kwantlen saying that the Ministry of Education has no record of me graduating. I call the ministry and find out my previous school was very shady and had a bad operating policy etc. So basically i was told that even though i technically graduated the ministry of education doesnt have any info on me past grade 10 because the school decided not to give any info for the two years i was there. so there goes school for now. i am on the waiting list for VCC til next year. my question is: do i have to take my name off the waiting list or is there some place where i can "get" my grade 12? this really fucking sucks. i wanna learn dammit.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

What are you taking at VCC? you only need grade 10 or equivilant to get into culinary arts, because you don't have to be smrt to be a chef

but you still need sertain courses to actually get into the school itself, for the class you may only need grade 10 but for the school you need a diploma... or something

go to the school and get your transcripts, just because they didnt send them in doesnt mean they dont exist, and also shouldnt it haev set off some alarms in your mind when you didnt get a diploma? if they haev no transcripts, consider legal action

i got a diploma. they just never sent it in to the ministry so they said its worthless because i could easily forge one. the school no longer exists and we went to check out legal action and there are currently 19 lawsuits against this school.

What effing BS cant you get a lawyer to make them give the info or something there has to be some way to get them to show the records. or do they not keep any.

i graduated in 1998. the school closed about 6 months after that. no one can get a hold of the old owners. apparently even their own lawyer doesnt know where they went.
