I have yet to hear a complaint about ANY Arrow rim.

Sounds like you just got a sweet deal!

I'd take the DHX over the trailpimp for sho, but that's just me.

i have both rims and the trailpimp is twice the rim, i really like it, rigid, undestructable, and actually welded.

by trailpimp is dented and spliting and my dhxs is perfectly true and still running strong, ohh and it holds tension better in my experince.

definatly dhx. Mine is still true after so many months and had to tention it once. and the dhx is lighter then the trailpimp. I heard many things about trailpimps and most of them weren't good. but dont think the arrows are indestructable, my friend cracked his rear one doing a drop and also had his front one explode.

DHX. Bike flew 30 feet into some logs, wheel was barely out of true got it straight in less than 5 minutes. Trailpimps have weak ass sidewalls.

they're lighter than a trailpimp or mag 30.

Specs are on www.arrowracing.com

I think the weight is 810-820g, but check on their website.

yah, it is a little lighter than a trailpimp, i think it is 40 grams less.

check out unrealbikes.com

the weights are on there but i think the trailpimp might be missquoted because it say it weighs 940 or something i think

Yes, I rode a trailpimp for one summer, and after bending the lips on the rim in numerous places from bottom outs, I was left with a snake biting machine.

I've been riding the same dhx rim for nearly two years now without a problem, I've never tensioned the rim from it's first day out, and recently purchased another 24" 36 holer for a bike I don't even own yet.

Arrow all the way, and a great company. I wrote an email to the arrow distributor here in Richmond, and cc'd it to Arrow. I heard back from the owner himself after he returned from Interbike, and have yet to hear from the chickens at the canadian distributors.

I love arrow rims, you'll be glad if you chose the dhx's.
