I use the new DH ones...basically the same but with wrap around protection.

This is one of the few times you can believe the hype. SUPER solid armour, the only armour I have ever used that stays on your leg, regardless of crashing, temperature, etc.

Superior coverage, shin, knee and above the knee.

Great ventilation, air blows right through them.

Fair pricing....Cheaper than Dianese with a whole new level of protection.

And COMFY!! Once they break in, you can hardly tell they are on.

Thanks man, I appreciate that.

You are selling your Dianese? Thats doing them a decent honour. Mine have been transformed into dust collectors. They seem to work best that way.

Don't the DH have a different padding pattern that allows for air circulation that is superior to the FR legs?

My dainese legs work alright.and that's big alright.
they slip around like mad,and often slip down leaving the meaty portion just above my knee vulnerable.
they work alright i suppose, but i'm not overly impressed.
i'd get the roach rally if i were you.i have a buddy who rides em and loves them.they looks like an improved version of the dainese.

I have the Dianese DH Opens (with the clip mesh back instead of the sock-type.) Anyway, they suck. Definitely not worth what you pay, IMO. The slide around constantly, to the point that even on a ride, they slide down my legs and the rubberized top strap is on my kneecap, not the actual plastic cup. I wouldn't be surprised by this if I was walking, as that's not what the pads are designed for, but it happens when pedaling/riding. I think the major problem is that my thighs are hugeness (like, tree trunk huge,) and then my claves are semi-normal size. I'm getting a set of the new Roach RallyDH legs for my B-day, and they definitely fit my leg better. Plus, they basically ride on the cuff of my shoe, so they can't slide down. Stoked to get out on the trails w/ em.

I tried both the DH with the closed back and the FR with the open back. I agree, you will forget they are on in minutes... very comfy to say the least.

Only one problem... the straps in the XL wouldn't go around my calves or forearm. Any armor from Fox, Troy Lee, 661, Hoots, etc. all fit in size large. I mean cmon, XL for pinners... jeez

Other than that they are so damn nice ... grrrrrr

the new Roach armor looks good...

bout time to their old "soft" armor was def. getting dated versus what else is out there for protection these days....

if your looking for a option to purchase use this as a price point...

Correction: My grandma paid.

^ werd but my bro got em for 75 at overtimes.

this was a DEAL.

i wish the fr one had some rear protection cause i m scared of missing pedal and raping the calves which hurt alot more than frontal IMO.

btw this armour has saved me from couple roadrash and i m gonna buy my own soon. maybe from bikeroom

I tried the leg armor, and it was fine. But like you, I found the arm armor too tight, even in XL. It's not like I have Hulk Hogan biceps either. They screwed up on the sizing.
