Hockey Player question

How many of you have gotten in a fight while playing hockey? I just came from a great one. I play D, and the kid swung his stick at my goalies head, and while I was on my knees, he crossed checked me in the throat.

So I got up, and beat the shit out of him. In the end, I was ontop of him laying into his face with my fist

. And finially, all I got was a single fighting penalty, and he got Instigator

So I am just curious of some of the hockey fight storys that you have.

i've had tons of hockey fights. i fought fleury twice in junior. i fought the other teams coach in midget.

What do you play as in league.

My first one happened when some guy ran me, i got my stick up into his face. Dropped them there ripped his helmet of and kicked his ass, he left with a bloody face, and told him not to run me again.

Second was when a line brawl was going on and a bigger kid was on one of our smaller guys i flipped him over told him to stand up, then one punched him to the ground hah it was great.

yup fought in hockey,and lacrosse... played goal in hockey
used to wail guys in the head with the end of my blocker.
that thing really hurt. fought in lacrosse too....

some kid pissed me off so when he wasn't looking and talkign to the coach i put my stick through his skates pretty funny outcome to that

I never got in many big fights.. I always figured I was better off having a huge check then a fight. The one fight I was in lasted about 10 seconds, one punch to the face and the kid was gone.

My biggest hit though, A guy about 6'3 250lbs skating down the ice full speed. (I was 5'9 maybe 175 at the time). Go at him also full on speed. I absolutly creamed him, He went flying

Hit the dround and broke his stick, a big peice of the ice and cracked his helmet. Some guy after the game told me that guy hadn't been hit near that hard in his entire life

Last year at the local pond hockey rink, one of my brothers teammates, hes 18 got all mad and threw his stick at me, so I told him, "you actually wanna do this" cause I am like 60 pounds heavier than him...and he dropped em...so did I, tought the kid a mighty fine lesson.....broke the chassis on my Graf 705's too

Now the kid is the leading PIM getter in the KIJHL

I almost got in one fight in bantam. It was the last face off of the game and we had creamed the other team about 7-1 or something and right off the face off this guy pushes our captain
down and starts driving his knee into his stomach while he was on the ground. I was playing left wing at the time so I just supermaned at the guy and knocked him to the ice and started punching him in the head. I got about three shots in and then I was pulled off him by the two linesman.

Needless to say we did not shake hands with them at the end of the game.

Haha, that is great. Not the game I just got kicked out of, but the one before, One kid from my team pushed a kid from the other in the handshake, and the other kid skated into the middle of an intire circle of my team

how dumb can you get? Needless to say, the refs were flying in there, punches were thrown, and Only one suspension outa it all

You bastards always liked to fight. I played hockey for like 5 years at Killarney as a goalie. Didn't fight once. I got a penalty for taking a swing at a guy once though.

Man I miss hockey so much. It was my life up until everyone started taking it too damn seriously.
