Couple lame shots of a new trail head

The pics suck....I suspect they will only show character once we show action footage....but today was a little miserable! 100km/hr winds and some snow/hail.
A 1 1/2' foot tall berm that mini-pumps up to about a 2' peak near the end...immediately pump the hump and into a 3 1/2-4' DJ/Gapper stylieee......to be continued...but this is how you will start the trail...kind of a warm up..to be hit at medium speed

So in the middle of this young treeplant space...I find this stretch of skidder-roto-tilled dirt....true dirt, not the usual Kamloops sand....a fair bit of loose rock, good for fill....easy to sift dirt for when you get to the top layer of the jumps. The dirt is reasonably easy to dig cuz it's been ground up at some point before
There's room on this stretch for at least a roomy 12pack....20 if they were packed tighter.
Anyways.....a nice start to my trail I think....once we get over that crest back there....it's into the tree's.....2x4 stunts will prevail!
But the intro will be DJ's.

btw...to give a tiny bit of scale...the last pic, with my Bro standing there....he's standing at ground level...it arcs about 1 1/2' below his feet there

You should look into renting a bobcat loopie it will save you heaps of time. going rate is usually $180 day

Plus there pretty fun to drive.

Reeeeealy.....that's not too bad....couple hundred eh?
I should start up a donation can

I don't know though.
A bobcat swath thru there would look more like an unauthorized operation to Forestry officials vs a bunch of hand built jumps???

It wouldnt be to bad thier pretty small machines. I bet you could have your 12 pack built in a day One guy to move the dirt and a couple guys sculpting the jumps. Shit Im sure you could get 10 guys together to toss 20 bones in the kitty and that leaves enough for beer at the end of the day.

You might want to figure out what your land accesss issues are though prior to doing the tough work. it would be sad to see anouther Juniper go down

well if no trees are taken down and no saplings are endangered it should be fine.... but then again whats the acess to there, you might end up spending $50 on gas to drive the bobcat there

I am the master of "eyeballing" measurements

A car can get to right where I took the pic....but it's 30min drive from the airport.
Thx for the offer Jarrett....we'll see what happens.
