Canon EOS Rebel Ti

My folks are looking to pick up a camera. They are by no means expert photographers, and it would pretty much be used for some trips (stuff my mom does like the west coast trail, and other excursions). Anyways, they're looking at the Canon EOS Rebel Ti because it seems pretty sweet, and it's pretty easy to use. They'd be paying 500 bucks...

Anyone used this camera? I think if anything, it'll be more camera then they need, but I thought I'd make sure it isn't a lemon

Thanks in advance,

Ian

Good camera, my buddy took it on our trip to inida and nepal and we have some super sweet shots, very light which is nice when you have to lug it up a mountain in 50% oxygen
Love cannon, i have great shots from my wifes elf 2, which shoots remarkabley well for a compact

Its a Rad little camera, I personally just picked up a Canon Elan 7E with a few little extra's and its fookin sweet. I can say Canon makes awesome stuff and is lighweight and they have an awesome warranty program incase somthing breaks.
