is this what a full face is suppose to feel like?

Sorry for making so many posts about my stupid quest in search of a full face.

But anyways, I went to mec today and bought a small/medium size pryme helmet. It had a very snug fit. When I tried the med/large (which is the next size up) it was too big because the helmet was able to move while I moved my head left and right. So I decided to go with the small/medium. However, after wearing it for a little while, the helmet seemed to sqish my head a bit, especially my ears. After taking it off, my head feels so light. Is this what it's suppose to feel like for any typical full face? Should I just wear it a little longer so that the paddings will break in?

btw, the helmet is blue, good or bad?

it should clamp down on your head, but not cause pain. if it fits tight it's good to go.

Blue....I dunno Ive heard many thing about how the blue decreases wind resistance, but a red would drastically increase mid rear propulsion....Youre best to try a good purple to have the best of both worlds...

my large 661 full brovo 02 fits really good it doesnt clamp down and cuase pain but it does move around just a hair.

i tried on my friends medium 661 full bravo but it was really really tight.

i think they should fit snug but also have a bit of room for your hair to grow.

but my ff is nice and comfy and its red.

same,

mines a Bell mx helmet and it even says it will work with street bikes, off road racings.

this helmet is hell ya beef but the biggest flaw is the 2.7 lb weight
and that it has ZERO vents

not the best helmet to wear in summer but the paint job is

Out of curiosity, how much do those MX fullfaces run? I'm really running out of options, since nothing from Bell, Giro, 661, or Ridge fits my head.

And how much do they weigh? They look like they would weigh more than an MTB FF helmet, and they look hot.

The $550 ($700 retail) Troy Lee fits a huge noggin, is light, and seems like it would be quite cool. I might get one because of its importance, but it sure would be nice if the price was a little more reasonable.

The padding should pack in a bit, thats what happened to my 661 comp. I agree with bbike, the 661 comp helmet is the best full face helmet for the price. They look awesome, have pretty good venting, are light, they're comfy, and they're only $45 at jenson usa.
