Brodie ZigZag???
i'm looking for a nice, short travel full suspention bike to use for dirtjumps, mountaincross, and some trails. i have been offered a 2000 or 2001 brodie zigzag in a trade. is it a good frame? can it take a beating? any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys - Jeremy

the Zig Zag is a x-country, would be a little woriied about frame breakage. You might want to look into a Norco 4by.

I used to have a ZigZag, and while it is a great bike, I don't think I'd recommend it for dirtjumping. I beefed mine up quite a bit and rode it all over the shore and Whistler, and while it held up great it really was designed with XC in mind.

I just picked up a very beat Brodie ZigZag from some guy in abby. My kid's been swapping parts, making it servicable and now... it's in reasonably good shape.
Looking on the web for info is futile - I wonder what year this bike might be. Any idea how I can tell? I'll post pics later. I think this wasn't a very common bike.. I wonder if Mr. Fungle might once have owned this particular bike. Although, I shoud say frame, because EVERY part has at one time been replaced. Try me - name anything. |
