Question Best dry conditions tire?

I am having a little trouble with my current front tire as it always wants to wash out and does wash out on the corners. It isn't that I don't know how to turn or anything it just won't grab. It is cheap tire (V Rubber Ninja) but anyways it is time for a new one and since this tire does well in the wet conditions I really want the best dry weather tire. What do you recommend? I have heard that the Highroller is good and the intense 909?

Highrollers are nice. I prefer Tioga DH 2.1 on mine, but I'm riding an XC bike right now, I'd go for a Tioga DH 2.4 or 2.5

Any sticky tire will help you out.

I have had a lot of luck with my Nokian NBX. It sucked in the loose gravel and such because I was turning to upright. I can lean WAY over in a turn if I stay soft on the front.

Look at the Nokian NBX 2.5 DH stickies. They are nice and tacky. They wear pretty well also.

Also look at the panaracer 2.4's. My buddy rides the 2.1's, they don't shed mud as well as the Nokian's (and therefore aren't that great on wet climbs). He can lean pretty far, but has locking issues with the rear tire if he get's on it to hard. I figure the 2.4's will cure any of these issues.

Highroller's and Kujo's are hands down AWESOME all-around tires for ALL conditions.

Also look at the panaracer 2.4's.
I assume you're refering to the new Panarance Fire FR 2.4s:

Panaracer Fire FR 2.4

Are these available in the retail channel now? If so, do you know of any local (North Van) shops that have this tire?

The Fire FRs look to be a nice tire without too much of a weight penalty for those long climbs. And cheaper than the new Mich Hot S.

And yes, we need to start doing a rain dance for the dusty trails.
