Wisdom teeth ---- how long until riding again?

Alright, here's the deal, I get my wisdom teeth out next Thursday in the early morning, and i've been invited to go to Nelson on the Friday evening, I wouldn't be riding until Saturday morning, so i'll have 48 hours in between where I won't be riding and i'll just be relaxing.

Now my wisdom teeth aren't compacted or whatever the fuck it's called, it's just that they don't have any room to grow in, I've been told it won't be too serious of a procedure.

So now i'm just wondering how long on average it took you people who got them out before you could ride again, especially if you take it REALLY easy right after you get them out. Please someone fill me in because I have to let my friends know ASAP if I can or cannot go.

I've heard 3-4 days .

I hope that's what it is, since I'm getting mine out 4 days before I head to whistler!

fuck...3-4 days is no good...I remember I asked the doctor about riding RIGHT after and he said that I could either not take the painkillers and ride, or take the painkillers and not be able to ride...and if it means going to Nelson and riding...i'll skip the painkillers and just fuel myself on adrenaline...oh that'll be a painful weekend....

... pain killers could make it a more magical experience I would say as soon as you get out of the dentist office you should just ride home or tell your dentist you don't need good teeth since you'll just knock them out biking anyway

well you see, on the climbs i like to lean really far forward, and i've fitted a special piece to my bars that i just clamp with my teeth to hold the bike steady, and i use that during climbing

And I believe that i'm only getting my lower 2 teeth out so I don't think it would be too bad.

Apparently you can get bacteria in it easy breathing in with your mouth.

But anyways... some of my friends have had theirs taken out and one of my friends took like a week and a half cuz he got bacteria in the holes. Others took 3 or 4 days before they came back to school. One chick came back to school after getting the surgery on a Saturday morning and was at school on Monday.
Everyone is different.
^ WTF?

Suck it up. Grab your bike and ride.
How is riding going to get bacteria in the holes?
