road bikes?????

hey guys, anyone know a good site with a buy and sell for road bikes or custom cruisers. thinking of picking up one of each. if anyone has a nice road bike with sdi shifters and it isn't bigger than 53cm, adn maybe wants a set of 2003 hope mins. let me know.
i'll take trades on them for a road bike or a custom cruiser, maybe i'll add cash if the bike is nice.

but a good site would be cool as well, thanks!

There's usually a fair number of road bikes on the Bow Cycle classifieds and the MTB review site.

Good to see you are looking to broaden your experiance. I think I might ride in a few time trials up here in the near future. I was supposed to put in a roadie ride this past weekend, but my riding bud popped out his knee on Saturday.

I did however get in a 4 hour XC ride on Friday, I forgot how well singletrack can flow, kinda miss the good mileage rides with all the pushing up hills!!

Fit is everything. If it doesn't fit you, it will cause you a lot of pain during long hours in the saddle.

There isn't a huge difference in specs and quality in entry-level road bikes. Similar to hardtails in the under $1k range. Try to take a few bikes for a spin and see if you can discern any differences in the ride quality or fit.
