Stealth Hubs...

Anyone ever ridden these?

The zero engagement is what drew me to them, but I don't want them if they are going to be shitty.

My choice is between these and KING's (and maybe White Industries).

I believe it uses a clutch type system, but I have no idea really.

I really am intrested. If it's fast, quiet and zero backlash and will be just as durable as a KING, I'll get one.

I've heard that Stealth hubs are made by workers that left Chris King...could be hearsay though.

Assuming that hard core riders are going to be using Stealth, I'm not sure I follow the marketing logistics. Quiet so that it can be one with nature seems a little far fetched. Wouldn't make a difference on most of the duallies out there.

Someone on Ridemonkey explained how they worked in detail...

...From what I remember, they're actually not that complicated. They use some sort of special bearing that only rotates in one direction...
