you probably don't want a full DH bike like the g-spot or even the big hit (even though both are severly nice bikes). i don't know shit about the sabre, the screams are nice and strong. i have a joker that i climb with regularly, good medium bike for almost everything.
but then i could be biased.

I wouldn't call the G-Spot a full DH bike, certainly no more so than a Joker. I'm looking for the same sort of bike, and I've narrowed it down to the Big Hit, Bullit, Giant DH comp, or RM7 FR, and maybe the Joker....so yeah, I haven't narrowed it down much. Any input would be appreciated. Right now it looks like the Bullit would be the least expensive option, but I like the burly-ness of some of the others.

I had an 8 Inch kit on my Big hit and Swaped it out for the 6" and am much happier. I personaly found 8 inches way to much for the slow tech trails not to mention the climbs.

You might want to pick up a bike here as the prices tend to be pretty good.

get a bike in canada, Im from scotland, and truct me the bikes are cheeper out there... and there are much more second hand options too!
I rode in cadana for 2 months last year on my joer, which is now a hardcore bike with monsters and alike, and I love it, good alrounder for sure, I've even gone pretty big at 15' on it! saying that the big hit and the banshee are super sweet too, just try riding them all, and get the one thats feels best, they are all quite different feeling!

Get an '03 big hit pro.
The new link makes a big difference. It's stiffer and the shock will last longer. If it feels too squishy at 8.1, just adjust it down to 6.8.
5 year warranty.
The super-t's worth it over the Jr.
A couple friends got them for $3600.
I think it's one of the best bikes at any price.
