Having just moved here, and never having been to a trail-day. Do folks bring their bikes to these to get to/from the trail heads? Or is it just a march of arms?

Sorry, I know likely a stupid question.

not stupid at all.

you're best off to dedicate the time to working on the trail. not much point in carrying a bike up without a tool (everyone needs to carry their tools up the hill). You'll also be more comfortable digging in the bush without worrying about your bike sitting on the side of the trail.

This used to be a very seasonal trail - gnomer/ aftertaste and could get beat down easily - any chance there could be mud/ rain closers? Say november- april

I would like to see a by- pass for c buster up to rapid transit from cardiac bypass/ bridal on the old skidder road as a next project - it would help build a loop !

Given that dirt will be thrown in the rain on Saturday, we are implementing a voluntary closure for a few days after the trail day to give the new work a chance to bed in. Thanks for your help on this one! mw

So the FB photos show a large turnout. Well done everyone! Did everything get done or are some more trail days planned?
