100 mile house plane crash...

Anybody else recognize the two extremely lucky passengers on the plane? While I did not know Greg Rector and Denise Brittain (sp?) very well I do remember them helping out at the sunshine coaster and/or the bear dh a few years ago and I did meet them once at the woodlot. Was very happy to hear they were able to walk away relatively unscathed.

They are both members of NSMB.com and ya.....talk about lucky.

They have been a huge part of racing for the last "x" amount of years.

They were a big part of Arduum and doing the timing at BC Cup and NWCup races.

just in case others haven't seen the plane that they walked away from

Greg And Denise have both been huge parts of the bc and nw race scene, as well as FVMBA. I'd say all that positive karma they have both built up over the years paid off! Glad they're ok!

on the news they were saying that they were likely lucky that they ran into soooo many things before they hit the building......scrubbing speed so to say..

The real question is "were they trying to take off from a conveyor belt?"

I don't know 'em, but I'm really glad they're okay. Plane crashes are serious business.

Glad they are okay! I can't imagine how scary it would be in the moments leading up to the crash.

From the few times I met Denise and one time I rode with her I know she is one of the nicest people around. I've never really talked to Greg, but I've heard he's the same. It's scary to know this happened to them, but I'm glad they are alright!
