AVOID SENSITIVE AREAS
Avoid sensitive areas such as meadows, lakeshores, wetlands and streams. Stay on designated routes.

So not sacreligious.....and hey, someone has to carry the beer, right?
So many trails out by the Foothills dump. I can ride for hours up there on the quad.

I would like to point out that logicaly speaking you are also getting older with every post in any case I have owned dirt bikes long ago in another life but now have no use for sleds or ATV's except to save on work, pushing snow with a blade can be entertaining for 1/2 an hr but I just get no fun component out of running the engine , I don't care what you do with yer sled or ATV just do it in an area designated for that specific landuse, if I happen to be in the area and find your motor too loud ... I can just turn off my hearing aid

BTW real men knit

Lots of responsible quadders out there, but plenty of idiots that put access at risk and cause long term damage. Educate yourself, avoid the wetlands, and don't chew up the trails in a provincial park like the idiots I saw today and it's all good. Alberta is the land of motorized vehicles, so you may as well join 'em. If gravity can't give you speed, you might as well have an engine.
