Tungsten is right...this guy doesnt need the discipline and direction of the Military........he needs hugs. Lots of hugs and a healing circle,maybe some sort of cleansing ceremony too. But definitely lots of hugs.

Just ask enduramil how well military corrective training works in the real world. The bullies just get promoted to positions of command which fuels their egos even more.

You want to open it up, do it on a empty road. Otherwise, I have no sympathy. What if this

See you don't make a distinction and yet there is a difference in what you just said
and what I am referring to. MY friends and family will always have more value to me than
your friends and family do to ME. And people I don't know at all (people I don't even know
from the internet) have even less value to me.

Lets say there's 5 gunmen pointing their guns at 5 people. One is your mother, another
is a random friend, another some guy from NSMB you've never met, the other some guy you
saw on tv, and the other a total stranger.
You have a sniper riffle and have enough bullets for all of them. Which gunman do you
shoot first? Mind you the gunmen will start shooting as soon as the first shot is shot
so you will only be able to save one or two.

If all life has the same meaning it will not matter to you who lives and who dies. You
will not shoot any of them and morn them all.

Take that same scenario and instead of one perfect stranger there are 1000. Those 1000
will have even less impact on your decision than the one.

grandmother, the other some random old lady with a walker. You ARE going to hit one, which
one do you hit? Or better, which one do you NOT hit? Or, which one has more meaning to
you?

To say that all life has equal worth is naive. Carrier pigeons had no worth until there
were only a few left. So as the population grows society will have less patience with
idiots like this.

Actually that's not true. While you are right that colliding with an object at that speed = game over, if you are fully suited up it is not impossible to survive a crash at those speeds if you don't hit anything. Lots of bike racers like in MotoGP crash at extremely high speeds and survive because of their gear choices. Luck is luck and you can certainly die at slower or higher speeds but the idea of having some gear on to help your chances with an otherwise silly thing to do is not the worst idea.

I might know who this person is. I closed a claim file recently involving a crashed motorcycle where the rider had lied to the broker about who the principal operator was going to be. He claimed that the 1000cc crotch rocket was his girlfriends learner bike. He already owed ICBC for something which is why the bike was registered and licensed to the girl.

Holy hypothetical situations batman! I am not saying all people have equal meaning to me, all I am saying is regardless of how many people there are on earth, human life has inherant value that is not deminished by how many of us there are! Atleast thats the way I see it Perhaps the better question would have been, if next year you have five more members in your family, would the rest of your family members have less meaning?

Back on track though, nothing will happen to this guy. The Police wanted to "have a talk" with him, AKA interigate him untill he slips up, he didnt play ball so they have nothing and they know it.
