route recommendations? Bby north

I haven't been riding my road bike for quite some time, but since signing up for the Ride to Conquer Cancer started to commute to work. Now I'm looking for weekend longer rides.

Can someone recommend me a route in Burnaby North area? Looking for 60 to 80k loop for this Saturday.

Other areas might work too.

go to randonneurs.bc.ca and look into " permanents " . lots of routes there longer than 80 km , but you can piece together what you want .

One of my favourites is out to Whytecliff park and back along the low road. Should be pretty close to 70 Km.

Ride out along the Barnett to Maple Ridge. Lots of roads out there with little traffic. Pitt Meadows has some flat, good roads.

Across 2nd Narrows, up the LSCR Trailway, out to Lions Gate, and back through downtown to North Burnaby, should net you 65+ km and enough climbing to make it feel like more. The 30 km in the forest is a bonus in this loop.

If you want an eastern N.Bby route, head out to Bby Mtn/SFU then over to Port Moody and climb up to Anmore/Buntzen and back. Should be a good 60-80k
