maybe I'm lame too since all you guys racing has me thinking about it...and my sexy new ride should arrive next week, and that shaves a bunch of weight compared to the hustler, and no, it isn't a 29'er...but I didn't get to shoot pics last year since I was away for a wedding, and I'd kinda like to do that again.....

To quote connor.

"Don't be a sissy."

Race and shoot. Bit of a different perspective than just shooting...

Yes, last year Cycling BC let me use the cost of insurance from a single race and apply it to my annual licence.

Start time and location is the same every week. Meet at Lynn Valley bikes at 6pm. We ride out to the trails from there. Seymour and Fromme have been hit with regularity, Cypress to be done later this spring once we start getting less rain and more light.

A few pics:
Last night

The week before

A few weeks back

The very first one

Not really announcing it anywhere. We've been spreading the info via word of mouth. This is a fun ride but you have to be willing to climb up to the trails. Some fitness required. We're not hammer heads though, a couple of less fit guys showed up last night and we waited and took it easy on the way up. Clipless setups recommended. We get all types from XC guys to me with knee pads. A 6" bike would be max for the stuff we ride as we avoid the freeridey type stuff and just stick to shore singletrack (which can be quite technical!!!) The way down was a blast, one of the best rides so far. Here's the route that we did yesterday:

http://app.strava.com/rides/4228218

The big nights we will do up to 20kms I guess. The small nights would be like the Strava link.

THe best part is getting trail bossed by the cool guys: Wade, Andreas, Joe Schwartz, etc. They know how to throw good loops together. Wade is the old man of the shore...knows every corner.
