Golf course trail paved!

On my way home on Sat I was ending my ride with one final rip down the golf course parameter trail when to my surprise I find that some TWAT has decided to gravel the lower section of the trail!!! WTF????

Why don't you just fucking tar-seal the entire fucking mountain whilst your at it???

Would love to know why this was done, interested to hear the justification for this.

Didja ever try and walk Fluffy the poodle after church when you still have your pumps and Sunday-Go-To-Meeting clothes on? Heaven forbid that someone gets muck on their Cha Cha pumps.

Is there a "parameter" trail around Seymour Golf and Country Club or something around Northlands?

If it's on any type of grade... one good rain storm and it will be everywhere else.

when considering trail use one has to take in to consideration all the parameters.

so lol again, because of course mtb'ers are the only ones that use the perimeter trail.

That trail is a mud-fest. I can't see how some gravel can be too bad.

So when did this happen anyway? I was riding that trail last week and it was normal. Wet soft and muddy. About a month ago I rode down to the bottom by the condos and there was some gravel there but that's been there a long time.

It completely ruins the flow of trail, its a quick and dirty solution to a little bit of mud in the winter. Is about as natural to the forest as big set of hairy bollocks, its just nasty...

All of the bark is now gravel, and they extended a lot further up. I wasn't the only one on the ride making this comment, its shitty, and never should have been given approval.

That whole trail was supposed to be paved. All around the golf course including the old trails on the west side that were there before the golf course was put in...

I'll have to check it out next time I'm over that way. I've avoided it because those trails always sucked. I used to climb up that way.

Is this that fun little trail that runs along the west side of Northlands?
