I've owned a couple ventanas, they are awesome bikes. Impressive lateral stiffness, good geo, good weight/strength, great suspension, fully crafted in-house, legendary customer support.
I could see Zeus becoming very popular.

If you do that, you get an all mountain bike. I was going to get a curved top tube on my frame but you loose to much stand over clearance for all mountain. I think you can only have curved top tubes on xc bikes. Doesn't make sense for the riding here but they sure look nice!

0.75" higher in theory, depending on tires. That's a lot if you like 'em low. To each their own.

How did you get 0.75"?

According to Sheldon, the rim diameter difference between 26" & 650b rim is 0.98", so the radius is 0.49" (assuming the thickness of the tire from rim to tread is the same).
(diameters are linked above)

(I haven't ridden a 650b so no idea what they handle like)
