iPad 2
Just bought one today and spent the whole day on it! Such an awesome piece of technology. The graphics are super HD good, it's fast (it has 2 processors now), it's really easy to use, and the APPS are great. So far I've downloaded iBooks, Angry Birds HD, Real Racing 2 HD, Globe News, Rock Band, Blackjack, Zynga Poker, Google Earth and Infinity Blade.

The iBooks App is head and shoulders above the e-reader I previously had.
Angry Birds is even awesomer on a bigger HD screen.
Real Racing 2 HD has awesome graphics and you steer by turning the iPad.
Rock Band is awesome on a touch screen.
Zynga Poker is super addictive.
You can navigate Google Earth with a flick and a pinch.
Last but not least, Infinity Blade is THE funnest sword combat game I've played so far.

And that's what I've discovered after just 1 day. This thing is awesome. Best $520 I ever spent, besides my WBP seasons pass.

If you don't have iOS 5 installed, do an update and install it.

Banking apps are useful. You can now get Majic Jack, and it's free. Shazam is still interesting. If you don't get Siri support, try vLingo for an idea of what Siri is about.

Pretty much. Fire up ITunes, and check for updates for iTunes. If there's an update, install it.

Then plug in your iPad and with iTunes running and you should get a popup that says a 5.0 update is available. I you don't, then right click on your iPad device on the left side of iTunes and ask it to check for updates.

I picked mine up for my work trips. It's easy to load it up with some movies and music to take with me on flights. I haven't had the opportunity to use it much outside of the house yet but I'll be away for a few weeks coming up, and that should be a good test of the capabilities. So far it's great as a living room browser.

That's my take. Kindle reader is great. I have watched some tv shows with the CTV and Global app.

How can you, or can you update if you refuse to use Itunes?
