Tech Help: Play iTunes movies on an Android phone

So I've got a couple of bike movies thru iTunes I want to watch whilst traveling.
They're in M4V format which my HTC Desire won't play (at least with the standard video player and I've also tried RockPlayer)

So I guess I have two options:
(1) an on-phone video player which can handle M4V, if so, which one? or
(2) convert format on my PC. In which case, what (free? lo-cost?) software does this?

(I'm running Android 2.2 BTW)

Try an app called Rockplayer. I use it when I'm streaming stuff from my media server to my tablet in the house. Plays damn near every format I've thrown at it.

Have you tried RockPlayer? If not then I would try RockPlayer. Finally if that does not work I would try RockPlayer.

Anyhoo, I'm assuming you want to travel with these so transcoding via a media server is out of the question. So ya you'll probably have to convert them. There's bunches of software out there to do it. I've had good luck with this one.

How big are the files? You could maybe email to me or give me an ftp link?

I have the AVS vid converter on my home PC that works really well. It's a paid app - the free download version will only convert like the first 30 seconds of video, but the full version will do any file size.

VLC have been saying one is coming forever but it hasn't happened yet. Many people are waiting.

I've given up on ripping the DRM from shit, so what I do now is buy it on iTunes, delete it, then torrent it from somewhere else.

Ideally one day I'll just be able to pay Anthill alone without the Cult of Apple getting a cut.

First off itunes blows. secondly the search function in the android market is pretty usefull. Download the trial for dice player ( seems good) and report back

Eye-tunes is like a trojan and a virus all wrapped into one sinister app. Once installed it tries to install other stupid shit on your machine like viewers and toolbars, and it also monitors your buying/downloads for "targeted advertising".
