Toonie #4 - Sat. Sept 17th

The LAST toonie of 2011!! Dress like it's the 80s and blind the competition into falling behind!

The race is on Fromme - registration will be at the water towers, but we've decided on not timing the climb for this one, so the race will start at 10am from Mountain Highway at Jerry Rig. From there, down Executioner, Dreamweaver Dempsey back up to Baden Powell, and then up the Baden Powell to the water towers, where the race ends.

Apres localtion to be confirmed and announced later on.

It's not too late to volunteer! Especially if you're a first aid person! Email toonie@nsmba.ca to help out.

Call out for volunteers!! Looks like we're experiencing some volunteer burn out... Who can blame them? They've worked hard! But gonna need some fresh blood for this one. Email toonie@nsmba.ca to help out.

Prizes from North Shore Bike Shop are gonna be rad!

And Ryder's eyewear has donated a couple of sunglasses from their new line that happens to be 80s inspired for prizes!

Picked up the prizes last night from Matt at North Shore Bike Shop. My couch reminds me of Christmas Morning except I got everything I wanted and then I had to give it away. Prizes include a Swagman bike rack, Straightline pink stem, Uvex magnum helmet, WTB Pure V seats, NS Bikes Socks for all the volunteers and some other stuff I probably missed mentioning. FYI I'll be wearing the vintage Ocean Pacific shorts and Peak 100.5 glasses.

the pink stem can likely be traded for another colour..though i like the pink one!
