as far as the Overlord goes, does only mileage on trails count, or does the road mileage count each time you go up it too?

Mileage counts every time you climb the fire road. If you repeat a trail twice, your mileage still only counts once. There are a couple trails you can ride multiple times as a connector, like King of the Shore, Baden Powell, St. Mary's etc.

$125 bucks gets racers:

-six hours of racing
-six ways to win:

-feed zone
-massage
-on mountain repairs
-BBQ and Beer at Lynn Valley Rec Centre

The rest of the money goes to paying for the race, including a donation to NSMBA.

If there's any left, I will keep some as payment for my thousands of hours of preparation time.

The rest gets invested in holding the race again next year.

so if you climb to ~6km,
do a trail,
then climb to ~5km,
do b trail
then climb to ~4km,
do c trail
then climb to ~3km,
do d trail

= ~18km road + ~18km trail for a total of 36km official race distance?

where exactly is sign on? I've read two different places (first gate or somewhere down lower where you get shuttled from)

when you come out of Lower Crippler, Dreamweaver or Penzoil, are we to ride the sidewalk to Dempsey Braemar?, does that distance count?

for the 3rd to 5th Warden Trail climb there are two routes at the top, the macho line to the left and the not so macho and longer/slower line to the right, do both count?
same question for down Kirkford

Registration is at 1st Gate Saturday morning between 8:30 - 9:30 am. Plan to get dropped off at 1st Gate.

You can sign up on race day before 10:45am. BRING CASH.

Register on www.ccnbikes.com by 4pm Thursday and you get BBQ included in your entry fee.

You cannot register for the BBQ on Race Day.

Ascending mileage attained on Mt. Highway above 1st Gate counts every time you ride it.

If you do exit to the road off lower mountain trails, your mileage on the road will not count.

Connector trails (Demspey, St. Mary's, Skid Road, Baden Powell, and KOTS) are okay to ride multiple times and all mileage accumulated there will count toward totals as well.

Warden Hill Climb (sponsored by Clif Bar) will be marked with flagging tape indicating the macho line to the left.

With Kirford, if you take a shortcut, it will reflect in your mileage.

However, it will give you a quicker time on the Race Face Super D.
