Had a chance to demo the Ibis Mojo SL which was awesome, but really wanted to try the Mojo HD which happened to be out

The SL was a a lot better climber & more nimble than my Stumpy, which I always thought was great. I didnt have time to wait for the HD to come back in, but the SL demo definitely made me all the more curious about the HD.

Anyone care to comment on how the Mojo HD compares to the Santa Cruz Nomad carbon?

I have an HD and it's a bloody awesome bike. I've never ridden a Nomad C so I can't compare to that, but I used to have a regular Mojo (same as the SL you just rode). I was torn between the HD and the Nomad when I was looking as well, I went with the HD because:
a)I liked the regular Mojo
b)it was a couple hundred cheaper
c)it has a better warranty (3 years vs 2)
d)Ibis customer service is awesome (from first hand experience)
e)most people that rode both claimed to prefer the DW suspension of the HD over VPP on the Nomad.
I'm sure that if I'd ended up getting a Nomad, I'd probably be just as stoked- they're both amazing bikes!

Demoed a Mojo HD the other day and i was quite impressed, if i could only have one bike, that would be it

Thanks for the info, very helpful. Will definitely have to get my legs around a HD. Just curious what build kit did you go with for your HD? Or was it custom?

I'm kicking myself that I didnt get my ass up there earlier to get on the HD
