new bicycle time

Set it up with:

-Haven stem (55mm)
-Havoc Carbon bar (29.5")
-ODI X-Trainer grips
-MG-1 pedals (yes, I know flats are tragic on this bike)
-Specialized Chunder Control 2.2 tires run tubeless
-WTB Deva saddle

It'll probably end up having a dropper post and clipless pedals, but holy hell is this thing a little smashy bike. Way too much fun.

Any guesses on weight? Is that still a thing?

Sweet ride. Rode one last week with a long stem. As long as I was standing it was awesome. You will love it.

I guess 25.5lbs. I am loving mine. Definitely is a charger of a bike both up and down the hill. Is that a 19" or 18"? I have a 90mm stem on mine with a SiXC bar and it feels perfect. Also, I swapped out the brakes for XTR trail 985 too.

You will enjoy!

I'm 5' 8" on a good day, so I went 18" knowing I'd put a short stem on it. If I was riding more XC I'd have gone for the 16.5" and an 80mm stem.

every time I see a fox 32 with an RL damper instead of an RLC, I cry a little inside.

I gotta be honest, aesthetically the front triangle looks like a dog taking a dump.

That said, I'm sure the bike is a metric shit tonne of fun.

Is the RLC that different from the RL? I really like my RL, never felt that the compression needed adjusting.

to be fair I haven't ridden any of the recent 32s in anger, but I often hear people saying that the RL is kinda divey. different strokes I imagine.

There might be a Terralogic in my future, but the RL feels pretty good. Then again, I definitely run my suspension pretty stiff.

I personally like the look of the bike in general (especially after I peeled off the hundreds of stickers), but shape wise the shifter is pretty effing close to the toptube with a stem this short.
