what's the deal with (little) kids and trail days? i can imagine it would be good just to get people/families out, but i can also see that it might be an unwanted distraction

I'm happy to see (supervised) kids at trail days. Getting them involved in all aspects of the sport early on increases the chance that they will stay involved when they get older.

On the other hand, unsupervised kids can be sketchy.

I think in some ways its good to get em out there early to see the work that goes into these trails. they are less likely to be like the twirp I had to yell at at interiver park who was trying smash the boards out of the ladders.

"well its already worn out anyways"

so what... don't be an idiot.

The one thing I'll give him is he did stop and without any drama.
