Its about time the MTB industry saw the rewards of a disposable high end race bike, I have been saying this for years...good job Specialized!

It was my understanding that specialized decided to go this route after a lot of research. Initially they were playing with a "Tour De France" style idea where a support crew would follow the racer down and allow them to switch bikes before techinical/more open sections. It is my understanding that this concept is still in the works as well.

Amazing...simply awesome, those spy shots are incredible...i so want that bike. The concept is brilliant, an uber lite low cost frame that is disposable like Tupperware...or a condom. Abuse it once and toss it keeping all the good stuff for the new kit.

Does it come in six pack?

You forgot to mention that this was developed in partnership with NASA and the CIA. This technology was originally designed for stealth bombers which like this bike are invisible.
