chain/chainring compatibility question

i found a chain ring that is for bmx that i want (its purple) but the description says for chain widths 3/32" or 1/8". i use a low end sram 8 speed chain, never thought about the width and not finding much info online, any idea what width it is and whether or not its compatible with this chainring? thanks

7 and 8 speed chains are mostly 3/32" in usable width, should work.
