truck wheels, where should I buy them?
I'm in the works of putting some 35's on my truck but the only problem I have is finding a place to buy them from. should I just buy them online from the states(rim&rubber complete) and ship them in or is there a local dude that is willing to wheel 'n deal?
btw, looking for kmc monsters 6x135 20" with some nitto rubber.

I need the tire to perform on and off road. some guys that are running the same supercharger as me but smaller diameter rims end up spinning the rim off the tire. The truck will be on the road most of the time but it will get dirty and it will be tested, I just don't want it to fail. I'd rather have a truck that is more then capable then might be capable.

35" on 20" is pretty standard stuff nowadays, and it should look awesome.
As far as I'm concerned, not much beats Tire Rack. I got my Cepek's for cheap from them, and all without any additional shipping costs. My tires are from Fountain, mainly because I was in a bind. Other than that, check out the forums in the US for used stuff. Lots of great deals to be found in the US right now. |

Yea Tirerack.com ships to Canada now - though it's pretty pricey for the shipping + brokerage + tax + etc over the price you first see. Maybe works out cheaper if you ship to Blaine or something? Next set of tires I will be doing through them for sure though because the same tires are less than half the discounted price I paid at Big-O.

You bet it is.
I save an average of $50/corner when shipping to Blaine. It's really the only reason I have to go to the US nowadays. When I bought my Cepeks, I wasn't charged duty as they're made in Mexico. American Racing and RBP are also domestic mfr'd products and are duty free. I'm running 35's on 18" wheels. They look small, but fit nicely on my truck. |

I priced out a set of A/T tires for my Tacoma and Tire Rack was considerably more expensive than buying them locally.
