As much as I love a good red vs blue pillow fight the truth of the American economic downfall is that it is a product of both Republican and Democrat policies. It is historical and Obama has had the least effect. Sure he has ramped up deficit spending but the state of the American economy is mainly in the shitter because of the deregulation of the banking industry that both parties can claim responsibility for that, including the Clinton admin. Of course Obama wouldn't have such tough decisions to make and the US economy would be doing a lot better without the fortune they poured into Iraq, which is 100% Dubya. Winning the '08 election was bound to make any President look bad.
