1st degree ac separation

Came home with this the other day. anyone know a good exercise to loosen up shoulder once it's in better shape?

never had any shoulder injuries so im completely clueless.

and freight train is what took me down with a mix of dhx air that just bottomed out as I was going up the step up and sprung up as i got air and launched me forward and over the bars

Definitely putting back dhx 5.0 coil

grab a door frame and do lunges while holding the frame. Adjust how you hold the door depending on where the injury is. Does anybody have any good recovery excercises for a 4" round bruise that is about 2" from my left nut and 2" from my rectum? Doing a cannonball onto a stump on Expecting to fly is what took me down.

i have had 3rd degree AC sep. it is gross and leaves a masssive bump forever. I can not sit through a movie at a theater without getting up and stretching it. I just do tons and tons of shoulder movements with bodylastics stuff.

Lay flat on your back and make figure eights with your arm strait up in front of your chest. Think small circles add weight and this will help, or at least it worked well for my fractured tuberosity.

A good sports physiotherapist will help it heal much better than without. And then do what they tell you. It's your body, don't go cheap on it.

start by leaning forward and dangling your arm as gravity generally does. then start making small circles in both directions, getting bigger as you can tolerate (wax on, wax off). Once that is good and you've progressed to doing the figure 8's on your back (as already suggested) without pain, lie on your good side and try to trace your fingers along the ground in a full circle with your arm straight. Both directions.

That should limber you up. But really, a 1st degree seperation means you have just inflammed the AC ligament, maybe frayed it. This is no worse than a charlie horse. It will heal up 100% within 1-2 weeks.

Go to Rona and but about 3 bags of Portland cement. Take the cement home and put the bags in the back yard, about 50 feet apart, with two at one point and one at the other. Now lift one bag onto your bad shoulder and carry it over to the fence. Make sure you don't walk, or run, but trot like your stepping through car tires. Put the bag down and pick up the bag that's there. Carry that bag back to the beginning in the same manner. Put it down and pick up the other bag and carry it back again. Do this about 50 times twice a day.

I must have had a 2nd degree then even though doc said 1st because it hurt like a bugger and took months for the pain to go away. My range of motion was severely limited for that time and could not lift my arm above shoulder. My shoulder still does not match the other. That was three years ago.
