20mm front hub advice?

I am thinking about upgrading the fork on my XC/AM trail bike from a 9mm axle to a 20mm axle. I have been looking on the internets for replacements for my current no-name 9mm front hub [1]. Would a Shimano SLX 20mm M667 be a decent replacement?

[1] - According to the Specialized site the front hub is a 'Forged alloy, hi/low flange, double sealed, ground race, machined disc mount, 32h, QR'.

it's pretty hard to go wrong with a front hub. just get a formula or something cheap.

Yep.

Although bear in mind that you'll probably need different spoke lengths if you are going to get a wheel rebuilt, so it's probably as economical to buy a whole wheel.

Buy a Hope or similar hub. Allows you to adapt to all the new axle types.

The WTB and Hope are really light.

But a formula cheapo hub is gonna be great too. Front hubs arent very complicated.

the convertable axle hubs are a little more $ but probably worth it instead of replacing it when 18.748392mm axle hubs become the new standard
