The 2011 Carbon Santa Cruz V10 Ridden in Whistler

A dream gig. A great bike.

Here's a slightly inebriated first look at the bike and some sweet photos from Jordan Manley.

Actually here...

If you have any specific questions about the bike ask them below.

carbonloading is a n00b; standing by
V10c availability and price

When will the V10c be for sale in the market?

What's the estimated price?

What's the estimated frame weight with coil shock?

Since there's 8inch mode, does that mean we won't see the Driver8c happening?

And will the Driver8 be discontinued since the carbon V10 has 8inch mode?

Cheers

So I'm not crazy... were you in the large group at the GLC on Monday where everyone present had a black carbon V10?

Why a slacker head angle in the shorter travel setting?

Someone has to say it. It's a rotary engine. No pistons.

Probably because it sags less. That would be my guess.

You beat me to it. Those are some mighty slim waffles for pedals there. What are they?

Not to take anything away from the frame, but ANY bike would be super light with that parts spec.

I'd like to hear more about the wheels, shock, and cranks. Just like the frame, mere mortals don't have access to those yet either.
