30 lbs seems a bit high compared to it's competition which is safely 28 lbs or less. Must be DH tubes in those wheels...

It still IS a banshee, so its built a bit more sturdy then many of the competitors. I personally think thats a good thing. Especially because the slack HA and low BB beg for riding this harder then you would other 5" xc bikes.

Plus, the build kit is light-ish, but not in weight weeny territory.

66 deg HA? I realize its adjustable, but c'mon now. This is still an AM bike that needs to climb and handle well overall. Are the new crop of slack-happy riders getting to be so hack-ish that they want to point the front end of a 5" bike down hill and not need to think abotu their lines?
