Wanted: cheap/free old frame 16-18"

My friend is looking for a bike for very light trail use, but mainly commuting. I have a stockpile of parts that I'd like to clear out, but I need a frame to hang them on.

Frame must be no smaller than 16", no larger than 18", to fit somebody 5'6". Must have v-brake mounts, no disc mount necessary. Would be great to have a headset and seatpost included. Steel or aluminum doesn't matter, but a lighter frame would be great. Strength or lack there of is not an issue. I know expect it to be in mint shape, but something not beat to sh*t would be great.

Hoping somebody has a frame in the garage or basement they'd like to ideally donate or get rid of for cheap. Can offer beer if needed, or trail karma

I think I have a Norco Kokanee frame in 17/18" in my storage locker. I can look when I get home.

I have a 2000 Specialized p3 Frame kicking around, v brake mounts and it comes with a disc brake adaptor (think these things alone run 40-90bucks), Seatpost clamp, and a post. I might even have some oldschool square taper cranks to toss in with it.

It was passed on to me with good Karma so I will continue to pass it along. Its all yours for some booze to fuel my university riding lifestyle or some new juicy brakepads as mine are getting nasty.
