Yep everyone's a "socialist commie liberal" until they need a $50,000 operation which they can't afford to pay for.

Had an interesting experience down there a few years back. This was just after the Bush vs Gore election in 2000. Sitting beside a very intelligent lady on the plane, she told me she voted for Gore and her husband voted for Bush. Why? Because they both agreed that Gore was the better candidate. But her husband was very religious, and their church stated that Bush was a religious God-fearing man whereas Gore was not. So her husband felt morally obligated to vote for Bush.

"Ignorant" doesn't begin to describe some of the attitudes down there.
