Hockey kids (and hockey parents) are dumb as shit anyways, I'm not surprised at all.
When I was in high school a friend of mine was involved in a serious car accident after hockey practice that changed his life forever. This is how it went down:

Hockey dad "A" had just bought his son a brand new Ford Mustang and kept challenging any of the other kids to beat his son at a race on the way home. Hockey dad "A" challenged my friend to race his son, since my friend had been bullied by this guy's son for a long time and the father was right into it, calling him a pussy in the parking lot after the practice in front of the rest of the team. My friend figured he might redeem himself and accepted the challenge.
Fast forward 20 minutes and my buddy had wrapped his car around a telephone pole and is spending the rest of his life with brain damage, he's out of a wheelchair now but he'll never be the same.

Long story short, the father was directly responsible for this accident. It's this kind of testosterone driven crap that I saw growing up in a small town where all the hockey kids thought they were tough shit and the parents were even bigger losers. I hope he get's hit by a bus, anyways.

I was on his team, I have not seen sean for years.
