Check this beast out!
The icing on the cake are the Mavic 823's on Anno Red Hope Pro II hubs with anno red spoke nipples.

39.3lbs
The 40's weight it down. I have all stock parts except a straightline direct mount stem, MG-1 pedals, 38 tooth chain ring. Wheels are tubeless as well.

I had a Devinci Wilson 4 before and it rides quite similar except it is a lot more stable at high speeds and corners amazingly. It also loves to get air and it is easy to gap sections...
I'm pretty impressed so far. I haven't played with the geo adjustments yet but I am interested to see the differences. The geo adjuster on the Wilson made it feel like a completely different bike.

They have a nicely spec'd one in North Shore Bike Shop to sit on - at least they did on the weekend... A sexy ride for sure and as much as I want one I don't know that it's the right bike for me... I'm not a racer and don't have any definite plans to do any races this year so I think the Blindside may be the long travel Transition for me - I love my Bottlerocket and imagine the Blindside is pretty similar... |
