Roxy goin' 60kmhr beside the van...and in true "record breaking" fashion(you have to run both directions and determine the average)..pics are one each way.

Black one is Tecoa....she's a pure bread siberian
The brown one is Bear....he's 1/4 malamute, 3/4 siberian.

Solo, they are ok trail dogs.
Together they are nothing but trouble....running away, killing cats, killing rabbits, etc.

Soo jealous. But right now we could not find the time to really be there for the dog if we had one. Really inspiring and one day I ride with a dog that is coming along.

Trooper, which is a pure bred (we think) lab that we rescued from the SPCA:


and my other dog Buddy, which is a German Shepherd, which we also got from the SPCA way before we got Trooper.

My wife and I don't have a dog, since our apartment doesn't allow pets.

dont be so quick to dismiss the shihtzu as a running dog. my mom had one and it was one of the toughest dogs ive ever seen. there was no stopping her. just keep the hair short.

Oh yeah, the hair stays short. No foo-foo shih tzu haircuts for her. Maggie is a hyperactive nutcase that can run around the house, but I don't think she has trail stamina or the focus required haha.

Introduced my dog to ledgeview today. Tuesday were going up eagle. I'm hoping in six months we can be leash free, and me on a bike.

South side of Ledgeview, up the Ranch road, is a good place for hiking off leash. Not as many bikers and lots of open fields.
