When does riding season start in Chilcotins?

I'm planning this year's trip(s) and am wondering when riding season in the Chilcotins (Spruce Lake / Tyax Lodge area) start, and when the snow is gone - if that's different.

Snow could be gone by June depending on how the spring goes. But I'd think Fall would be the best time to go
