fake id
so the situation is as follows.

when I was under the legal age, my friend gave me his id. I moved to bc and just before I was 19 I gave it to a new friend.

The id is from another province and last night he was busted for possesion of stolen goods under $5000.00. The cop weasled my name out of him and they want to speak to me. Now i'm not being charged or summoned anywhere but I'm still a little frightened.

What are my options? should I lawyer up?

I'd advise you to do the rossco method of dealing with situations like this. Go shopping in the US.

Just say they have some vendetta against you because you owe them both money. It isn't your ID and you have no idea where it came from.
