Different Bikes NEW Burnaby Location!
The latest addition to our family of local shops is Different Bikes Burnaby!

Now open at 6661 Hastings Street, right at the base of Burnaby Mountain.

You may recognize the location as the former Sharpey's Cycles. And if you drop in, you'll recognize the faces too. We've been very fortunate to retain the staff from Sharpey's, including the Jimi and Jordie, who will now be part of the Different Bikes team running the newest shop.



More information here. Watch for a Grand Opening Event in the New Year! We'll be db-ifying the store over the coming weeks and bringing in lots more great products. Stop by to check it out and say hi to the team there! Once we get our computer system in place, any existing customer details from any shop will be available to the staff in all stores. And free lifetime basic tuneups can be done anywhere...

Loved the Sharpey's logo, kept hinting to the boss she'd could buy me a cap or jersey for Xmas...

Talk to Jimi about the "now classic collectors edition" caps and jerseys.

As for Niner - yep we are a Niner dealer. Mostly bring them in by customer order, but we have seen demand increasing so may start stocking some samples in some of the stores.

well there has been a bikeshop at that location for 15yrs of so...

However only since Jimi took over 2yrs(?) ago has it really surpassed its front as an imigration portal...

I'm glad he is sticking around as part of the Diff family, that can only be good news.

I know there was a LBS there, but after stopping in there a few times over the years (pre new owner) I never seemed to find a reason to go back.

Myself (Jimi) and the team there revitalized the old Sharpey's out of a passion for riding and bikes. The shop is located in a part of Burnaby I don't get to very often.

With Different being there I'm more likely to head there if I need something.
