Gotta admit though - 12 years and going strong is a pretty good run. Every new changing of the guard will result in a learning curve.

It's be good to have set terms for directors - a two year term of 6 directors, with 3 new directors being elected every year for a two year term, and 3 old directors stepping down each year. That would drive changeover, but also keep consistancy through out the years.

that would depend on whether or not that provision is in your bylaws - they can be amended but you have to call a special meeting.

just figured i'd point that out. since most directors of a society are fairly clueless when it comes to figuring out what they can and can't do and haven't the vaguest idea of what bylaws are
