The weather isn't looking so pretty for the next few days - 3000m freezing level with tons of rain. Can you say rain crust?

I guess an epic november could only go so far. at least there is a huge base

yah I tilted it up and then adjusted the side to side orientation for subsequent vids.

So far the ContourHD goggle mount is my favourite mount. I've tried the GoPro Headband mount and its ok but I'm hoping for good things out of the helmet mount

yup got a ContourHD, ContourHD 1080, GoPro Hero, GoPro HD. A bit overkill but am working with mounts and angles for test videos

Looking a bit better but still not that great

Tonight..Snow beginning early this evening then changing to rain overnight.
Rainfall amounts 5 mm. Snowfall accumulation 4 to 8 cm.
Alpine temperature rising to plus 2 overnight.
Freezing level 1300 metres rising to 2000 metres overnight.
Mountaintop winds southerly 50 to 70 km/h.
Wednesday..Rain changing to snow in the morning.
Rainfall amounts 5 to 10 mm. Snowfall accumulation 15 to 25 cm.
Alpine temperature lowering to zero in the morning.
Freezing level lowering to near 1800 metres in the morning and to 1500 in the evening.
Mountaintop winds southerly 60 to 80 km/h

so much for tits deep on Blackcomb on Thursday, any word on what lifts are gonna be turning? not enough people skiing right now for WB to justify opening the Alpine I heard.....bookings are down all over, crazy with all this snow....

They were blasting like crazy on Blackcomb last weekend.

I heard bookings were up for the American thanksgiving???

the Fairmont is still showing 50% which is nuts, cause we are usually full this weekend, a little less work for me I guess and more skiing....
