Canucks going after Forsberg?
Thoughts? Yay or nay? Personally, I think the Canucks don't stand a chance in getting him but I'd love to see him healthy and back on the ice.

Comparing Sundin to Forsberg is crazy. A healthy Forsberg is far better than that poker playing poofter.

I've always been a fan of Forsberg and would have loved to see what he could have been had his right ankle and foot not been made of glass.

Makes sense for Forsberg as he will be playing for the Swedish Olympic team..he can be close to a lot of his Swedish teammates. Makes sense for the Canucks since they have a defenseman (Boomboom) playing forward due to all the injuries.

While he isn't as old the same thing could be said about Marion Gaborik and look how that's worked out so far. In 8 seasons in the NHL he's only played a full season once.

For a team who has some cap space and won't have to give up any prospects whats there to lose other than money. A healthy Forsberg can still play top notch hockey.

I heard (now this might be internet speculation) that Forsberg wants to sign in Vancouver because we have the best team doctors and if he hurts his foot again they can replace it with one that washes up on shore here.
