well its what RC thinks is the truth ,you do hear the same theories over and over

the "black diamond" bike never really caught on did it ?

you do get nice pictures ,a good breakdown of parts and tech info which appeals to me ...maybe not of any interest to "the people who shouldnt own tools" set

you won't get to see the latest 18yr old riding sensation's plumbers crack or watch him shoot beer out of his nose .

RC does pump out a readable magazine on a very regular basis and takes home a paycheck for it

we used to have these 2 lawyers who came in and spent $$$$$ ,trained legal minds can quote everything they read in MBA verbatim like it was a legal precedent ...you could tell which artical they got it from

RC was real to them and very likely LOTS of discerning american XC riders but of course we were so core that to us it was funny stuff ...but the point is that in many circles RC's opinion would still be the shit

interestingly enough, the Bike Mag crew are in town for the next month testing something like 100 bikes for their gear guide...we were out pedalling in squamish yesterday and this thread came up in conversation on the drive back....multiple riders on the same bike style coming at'cha it would seem....should be interesting to see how it all plays out.....and also, those dry weather cali guys can shred the wet roots and rocks pretty damn well! and also also, the carbon commencal meta 5.5 is pure unadulterated sex....
